Elegant leaves and branches
of varying shades of blue carry glistening blossoms of silver, ivory,
and pink across this kimono's ivory sky. The ribbed, open weave of this
garment encourages creative layering, as the color of whatever's worn
beneath shows through.

of places.

Expertly and Cleanly finished by Ichiroya. Really high quality sewing.
a few small spots. I don't think you'd notice them much when wearing.
This is an older kimono. The beauty of the metallic painting and the metallic
embroidered threads is great, but there are a few discolorations. Also,
to make it easier to fit a modern person, it was finished with the sides
of the painting (at the side seam) not matching up fully (to make it more
easily fit a wider person). You can see this in the photos. This is a
totally gorgeous kimono and it's rarer to find beautiful summer open weave
kimonos like this that are painted and embroidered so beautifully. I'm
6 feet tall and it's a little too short for me.
There are snaps at the collar to ease in dressing.
